Tommy McElroy, MD

Dr. McElroy was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on the Naval Station Great Lakes. He was raised in Lakeland, Florida and attended the University of Florida. After graduating from UF with a degree in Microbiology and Cell Science, he worked for two years in the Florida Departments of Labor and Health.

Dr. McElroy graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2006. In 2010, he completed his training in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine at the USF-Morton Plant Mease residency and fellowship programs in Clearwater. Florida. After graduation Dr. McElroy joined the USF Physicians Group where he practiced Sports and Family Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. McElroy served as a team physician for USF Athletics and taught medical students and athletic training students on their clinical rotations.

In 2012, Dr. McElroy left USF to start his own Concierge Medicine practice, Echelon-Health. As a Sports Medicine physician Dr. McElroy has served as team physician and consultant for teams in the NFL, AFL, and MLB in addition to college and high school athletics. Outside the office, Dr. McElroy enjoys indoor and outdoor building projects, fishing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He lives in Lutz, Florida.

Tracy McElroy, LPN

Tracy began her medical career by obtaining her associates of science degree in medical assisting. After several years working as a certified medical assistant, Tracy attended nursing school and earned her Licensure as a Practical Nurse. Tracy worked in her local hospital pediatric clinic where she became clinic supervisor and later worked in the multi-specialty practice at USF Health until starting Echelon-Health in 2013 with Dr. McElroy.

As clinic coordinator, Tracy is responsible for administrative and clinical operations. Tracy is generally the first person you see when you arrive and the last person you see when you leave. Her focus is making sure your Echelon-Health experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
